Egypt extends AD duties on steel products from 3 countries

The Ministry of Trade and Industry of Egypt has issued a decree, deciding to extend the anti-dumping (AD) duties, which were imposed in 2017, on steel imports from Ukraine, China, and Turkey for another 12 months.

The scope of the steel products includes rods, coils, poles, and rebar.

The new decision took effect on June 6, 2022, and will be reviewed during the 12-month period.

The AD duty rate for Ukraine was 17.2-27%, and that for China and Turkey was at 29% and 7-22.8%, respectively.
