South African power curb probably near end

Recently, the South African electricity minister indicated that Eskom, a South African electricity public utility, is near to stop power curb while the weather getting warmer.

The minister also said their power generation capacity keeps improving, and they are very confident in solving the situation of the power curb but would not like to offer the exact time when the power curb can stop.

He emphasized the power curb measures have been back to the third phase, and they have avoided the worst situation, and the situation is getting better. The minister also said electricity demand is increasing, and they need to solve the power transmission problem.
