Argentina’s automobile output & exports decrease in Feb y-o-y

According to the latest report from the Argentine Association of Automobile Manufacturers (ADEFA), in February, Argentina’s automobile output was about 37,000 vehicles, a month-on-month hike of 65.5% but a year-on-year decrease of 19%. In the first two months, the production totaled around 60,000 vehicles, dropping by 18.2% compared to the same period a year ago.

In February, Argentina’s automobile exports amounted to about 24,000 vehicles, soaring by 54.1% compared to the previous month but slightly decreasing by 1.6% year on year. From January to February, the exports were around 39,000 vehicles, going up by 10.1% year on year. Brazil was the main export destination.
