Affected by the news of the United Nations draft resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and weak demand for gasoline in the United States, international crude oil prices fell on March 21.

Although the gasoline inventories fell for the seventh straight week, gasoline supplies, an indicator of product demand, still fell.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for May delivery decreased by US$0.20 (0.3%), reaching US$81.07/barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for May delivery declined by US$0.17 (0.2%), settling at US$85.78/barrel.
