Mexico maintains AD duty order on microwire for welding from China

According to the preliminary result of the antidumping duties (AD) administrative review, the Mexican Secretariat of Economy (SE) decided to maintain an antidumping duty on imports of microwire for welding originating in China.

The antidumping duty for China was maintained at US$0.57/KG. The subjected products were under HS Code 7229.20.01, 7229.90.99, and 8311.90.01. The product under review is the microwire for welding, which is a solid carbon steel wire alloyed with manganese and silicon, coated or not with copper, in diameters from 0.6 to 1.6 millimeters, which is melted to join two or more pieces of steel by generating an electric arc.
