International crude oil prices fall as tension in Middle East eases

International crude oil prices fell on April 24 as concerns about conflicts in the Middle East eased. However, the decrease in United States crude oil inventories limited declines.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for June delivery decreased by US$0.55 (0.66%), reaching US$82.81/barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for June delivery declined by US$0.40 (0.45%), settling at US$88.02/barrel.
