Thyssenkrupp Nucera to provide electrolyzer for Spain's green hydrogen project

It was reported that ThyssenKrupp Nucera, a subsidiary of German steelmaker ThyssenKrupp, will provide Spanish-based oil and gas company Cepsa with a 300 MW electrolyser and be responsible for its design and engineering until the final investment decision.

The project is a 2 GW green hydrogen project in southern Spain. The production of hydrogen is met by solar and wind energy, with an annual production capacity of up to 47,000 tons.

The project will contribute to the Spanish company's plans to develop green energy by 2030.
