Comprehensive competitiveness of China's shipbuilding industry ranks first globally

According to the analysis results of the global shipbuilding competitiveness of the South Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade, China's shipbuilding industry ranked first in the world in terms of the comprehensive competitiveness of the shipbuilding value chain in 2023.

Among the four major shipbuilding countries and regions, South Korea, China, Japan, and the European Union, the overall competitiveness score of China's shipbuilding industry was 90.6 points, South Korea 88.9 points, Japan 83.1 points, and the European Union 71.4 points.
