International crude oil prices fall as China's demand decline

International crude oil prices fell on July 26 as Chinese demand declined. The Middle East negotiated the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip offering hope for easing tensions, but markets remain concerned about supply conditions.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for August delivery decreased by US$1.12 (1.4%), reaching US$77.16/barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for September delivery fell by US$1.24 (1.5%), settling at US$81.13/barrel.
