According to statistics from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), in the first half of 2024, the EU’s new commercial vehicle registrations amounted to 1,044,074 units, a year-on-year increase of nearly 13%.

Among them, van sales rose by 15% to 840,409 units, and Germany had the largest growth of 19.3%. Truck sales grew by 3% to 183,295 units. The increase was mainly driven by medium-truck sales growth of 18.2%. Bus sales hiked by 28.6% to 20,370 units, with all major markets’ growth, especially Italy had an increase of 44.6%.
