French pipe manufacturer Vallourec has signed a contract with Petrobras, a state-owned energy company in Brazil, for the supply of premium oil country tubular goods (OCTG) and accessories for the development of the Sepia 2 and Atapu 2 projects in pre-salt Santos Basin, offshore Brazil.

Under the deal, Vallourec will deliver up to 25,000 tons of products within three years, and it will also offer a comprehensive range of related services, such as Tubular Management Services, VAM Field Service, and the complete Vallourec’s digital solutions.

The products will be supplied from Vallourec’s Brazilian plants. Vallourec’s products with high-end steel grades of High Collapse, Sour Service, and Super Martensitic, and premium connections of VAM 21 and VAM SLIJ-3 can withstand severe conditions in Brazil’s deepwater pre-salt fields.
