Brazil announces preliminary AD determination on tinned chrome flat-rolled steel from China

Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry, and Foreign Trade (MDIC) announced the preliminary affirmative anti-dumping (AD) ruling on alloy or non-alloy tinned or chrome flat-rolled steel with a thickness of less than 0.5 mm originating in China. The Ministry recommends imposing temporary AD duties on the involved Chinese products for no more than 6 months, with duties ranging from US$251.97 to US$341.28 per ton.

The investigated products are commonly classified under subitems 7210.12.00, 7210.50.00, 7212.10.00, and 7212.50.90 of the MERCOSUR Common Nomenclature (NCM). The determination is based on the investigation launched on March 1, 2024.
