Kroman Çelik invests in building 45 MWe solar power plant

Kroman Çelik, a Turkish steelmaker, planned to invest 755.62 million liras to build a 45 MWe solar power plant in Kangal district.

The environmental impact assessment (EIA) application submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change (MoEU) for the project has been reviewed and the EIA process was initiated.

After receiving approval from the authority, 85,488 photovoltaic solar panels will be installed, each with a power of 585 Wp.

The plant has a target generating capacity of 89,250 MWh and an expected life of 25 years. It was aimed to be put into operation within one year.
