Australia extends due date to publish final ruling of AD & CVD measures on China’s aluminum extrusions

On February 24, 2025, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced its extension of the due date to provide the final report and recommendation to the Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science about the third anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) sunset review investigation on aluminum extrusions from China.

The Commission is expected to issue its statement of essential facts (SEF) on or before July 16, 2025 and submit its final recommendations to the Minister by September 8, 2025.

The third AD sunset review on the subject products from China was launched in November 2024 at Capral Limited’s request. The dumping investigation period covered October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024, and the injury investigation period spans October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2024.

The products involved are classified under Australian customs codes 7604.10.00.06, 7604.21.00.07, 7604.21.00.08, 7604.29.00.09, 7604.29.00.10, 7608.10.00.09, 7608.20.00.10, 7610.10.00.12, and 7610.90.00.13.
