International crude oil prices slightly decline on Apr 1 amid economic uncertainty

US President Donald Trump's new round of tariffs, to be announced on April 2, is expected to boost uncertainty for the US economy. International crude oil prices slightly decreased on April 1.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for May delivery decreased by US$0.28 (0.39%), reaching US$71.20/barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for the June delivery declined by US$0.28 (0.37%), settling at US$74.49/barrel.
