Jindal Stainless, a leading stainless steel manufacturer in India, aims for a 30% export growth this year, targeting 22,000-25,000 tons of stainless steel monthly, up from 16,000-18,000 tons per month in the preceding fiscal year.

CEO Tarun Khulbe said the US creates a level playing field by applying uniform tariffs to countries, and Jindal Stainless will be able to do better in exporting.

Managing Director Abhyuday Jindal said that customers who left pre-2016 are returning, leading to healthier order books. Three-quarters of the company’s exports will target US and European markets.

Jindal Stainless expected 9-10% volume growth this fiscal year, with capital expenditure around Rs 2,700 crore.
