US finds Vietnam’s welded stainless steel pressure pipes dumped at below fair value

On May 23, 2025, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced its final determination of anti-dumping (AD) administrative review on welded stainless steel pressure pipes from Vietnam, ruling that the subject goods from certain exporters of this Southeast Asian country were sold at prices lower than fair value in the US during the period of review from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023.

As a result, Sonha SSP Vietnam Sole Member Company Limited/ Sonha International Corporation and Vinlong Stainless Steel (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. were assigned a weighted average dumping margin of 144.59%. The overall Vietnam-wide dumping margin remains at 16.25%.

The products involved are circular welded austenitic stainless pressure pipes with an outside diameter not greater than 14 inches, classified in subheadings 7306.40.5005, 7306.40.5040, 7306.40.5062, 7306.40.5064, 7306.40.5085, 7306.40.1010, 7306.40.1015, 7306.40.5042, 7306.40.5044, 7306.40.5080, and 7306.40.5090 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS).
