Taiwan's H-beam exports reached nearly 19,000 tons in the first five months of this year, a 13% increase compared to the same period last year. In May alone, exports accounted for a significant portion, with around 6,700 tons, a more than ninefold jump from May 2024.

In May, the primary destinations for Taiwan’s H-beam exports were Australia and New Zealand, with the supply of around 3,900 tons and 2,700 tons, respectively.

In the January-May period, Australia remained the top market with about 12,000 tons, followed by New Zealand’s 6,600 tons. In contrast, the same period last year had more diversified sales, including significant shipments to the US, Canada, Vietnam, and other Southeast Asian nations, alongside Australia and New Zealand.
