Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has completed its first delivery of premium oil country tubular goods (OCTG) to Romania, a new phase for the company in the European market.

The shipment included tubing with premium UPJ-M connections, designated for the overhaul of 39 wells at Romania's Bilciurești gas field. This project aims to increase the field's daily gas output from 14 million to 20 million cubic meters.

Ivan Mazanka, Interpipe’s Pipe Sales Director for the European market, said this is the first major UPJ-M threaded pipe shipment to both Romania and the wider European market, adding that the UPJ-M design's gas-tight integrity and pressure resistance make it ideal for gas production.
