Taiwan's screw exports slightly rise in H1 2025, Germany leads growth

Taiwan's screw exports totaled around 644,000 tons in the first half of 2025, a modest increase of 1.24% compared to the same period last year. Germany led the growth among the top 10 export destinations, with shipments surging by nearly 25% to 59,600 tons. Canada also had a rise of almost 6% to 25,300 tons, while Japan and Spain experienced increases of 2.4% and 2.8%, with about 28,200 tons and 15,500 tons, respectively.

However, during the period, exports to Mexico fell by 13% to 15,600 tons. Shipments to the Netherlands decreased by 6% and Italy had a 3.2% decline.

Exports to the largest market, the US, slightly fell by 1.18% to 286,000 tons. Australia, outside the top 10, recorded the most significant decline, with a 23% decrease to approximately 7,200 tons.
