The market continues to be uncertain due to tariffs and sanctions, along with worries about OPEC+’s potential production increase. International crude oil prices fell for the fifth consecutive day on August 6, dropping to an eight-week low.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for September delivery decreased by US$0.81 (1.2%), reaching US$64.35 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Brent crude for October delivery fell by US$0.75 (1.1%), settling at US$66.89 per barrel.
