According to the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), Japan produced approximately 726,000 units of automobiles (including passenger cars, trucks, and buses) in June, increasing by 13.8% from the previous month.

In June, domestic sales rose 5.2% year-over-year to 393,000 units. First-half sales reached 2.35 million units, rising by 10.2% from the previous year.

For exports, June shipments totaled roughly 369,700 vehicles, soaring by 22.6% from the previous month and 1.9% yearly. First-half exports amounted to 2.05 million units, a 1.4% increase year-over-year.
