Taiwan’s screw shipments to Europe decline in Oct as prices rise for 4th month

12 Nov 2025 14:30 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
Taiwan's screw exports to Europe decreased to 26,953 tons in October, falling below the 27,000-ton level. This volume was the second lowest of the year and represented a month-on-month fall of 25.8% and a year-on-year drop of 22.55%.

The drop in volume occurred as the average export price continued its upward path for the fourth consecutive month, reaching a new high this year with a year-on-year rise of 4.3%. The decrease in exports to Europe in October was due to the sustained rise in costs.

Exports to Europe for the first ten months of the year reached 333,000 tons, an increase of 1.3% compared to the same period last year, although the average price over this period had a 1.5% reduction.
