voestalpine Railway Systems, the global leader in rail infrastructure based in Donawitz, Styria, has completed work on Austria’s new high-performance Koralmbahn line between Graz and Klagenfurt. The entire route, which will enter full operation on December 14, 2025, has been supplied with around 290 kilometers of premium rails and 235 high-tech turnouts.

The project centers on the 33-kilometer Koralm Tunnel, the longest in Austria. The ultra-long rails are designed to support speeds up to 250 km/h, offering longer service life and reduced maintenance.

Furthermore, the intelligent monitoring systems ensure permanent infrastructure safety and enable predictive maintenance, contributing to the line's overall efficiency and operational reliability.
