Pennsylvania-based Southco, Inc. has launched a 2,255-square-meter production site in Chonburi, Thailand. This new hub focuses on manufacturing industrial fasteners, electronic access solutions, and specialized quick-access hardware, including cleanroom production.

By localizing operations in Southeast Asia, the company plans to improve supply chain resilience and delivery speeds for regional clients in sectors such as aerospace, medical, and data centers.

This expansion poses a competitive challenge to Taiwan’s high-value fastener exports, as Southco used the Chonburi base to serve as a core distribution and service center. The move solidifies the firm’s long-standing presence in the Asia-Pacific market, joining its existing network in Taiwan, China, and India.
