Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation (GIISDEC) stated that Ghana is going to launch its iron ore ming project by the end of 2023.

The Yendi legislator said the investment couldn’t only get support from the government. The cost of mining is high, so they decided to let private corporations participate. There are ten companies currently evaluating total iron deposits in the country.

Apart from that, Ghana hoped big steel companies can also enter the investment and undertake the risk of their investment.
