Zanaga Iron Ore Company Limited (ZIOC), an iron ore exploration and development company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Arise Integrated Industrial Platforms to develop port infrastructure for the Zanaga Iron Ore Project in the Republic of Congo.

The partnership targets the construction of onshore and offshore facilities necessary for the export of iron ore.

The Zanaga Project is one of the largest iron ore reserves in the world, with JORC-compliant resources of 6.9 billion tons, including reserves of 2.1 billion tons.

The agreement will see the Zanaga Project's concentrate processing facility located within the special economic zone while benefiting from Arise's expertise in infrastructure.

This partnership serves as a significant milestone for the Zanaga Project.
