Ganfeng Lithium officially launches Phase I of Mariana lithium salt lake project in Argentina, boosting global lithium supply

Recently, Phase I of the Mariana lithium salt lake project, owned by Litio Minera Argentina S.A., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ganfeng Lithium, was officially commissioned in Salta Province, Argentina.

The project is located in northern Argentina and has a total lithium resource of approximately 8.121 million tons of lithium carbonate equivalent. 

Phase I is planned with an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of lithium chloride. After commissioning, the company will accelerate production ramp-up to optimize lithium resource supply and cost structure, enhancing profitability. 

Ganfeng Lithium's layout in Argentina demonstrates its strength in lithium resource development, facilitating access to stable and low-cost lithium resources while promoting local economic development.
