According to data from the Philippine Statistics Authority, the country's nickel ore exports totaled about 7.8 million tons in July.

Among them, exports to China accounted for a large proportion, which totaled around 6.14 million tons. Meanwhile, Indonesia was the destination for roughly 1.68 million tons of nickel ore from the Philippines.

In 2024, Philippine nickel ore exports reached 44.97 million tons, a 10.1% increase from the previous year. China received around 35.1 million tons last year, a year-on-year drop of 12%. Exports to Indonesia were nearly 9.6 million tons, soaring by 4,342% year on year.
