NMDC Limited, an Indian state-owned mining company, reported a stable increase in its operational performance for August, driven by strong iron ore production. The company's iron ore output rose by 9.8% year on year to 3.37 million tons, up from 3.07 million tons in the same month last year.

Meanwhile, iron ore sales also grew by 8% year on year to 3.39 million tons.

In the period of April-August in the fiscal year 2026, NMDC produced 18.45 million tons and sold 18.37 million tons of iron ore, both figures exceeding the previous year’s performance. This positive operational data followed a strong first-quarter financial report where the company's revenue increased by 24.5%.
