Kyrgyzstan imposes 6-month ban on ferrous metal scrap exports

Kyrgyzstan has imposed a temporary, six-month ban on the export of ferrous metal scrap, waste, and ingots for remelting. The decision was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev.

This measure applies to materials classified under EAEU TN VED code 7204. The ban will take effect three days after the resolution comes into effect.

This policy is to control the domestic supply of these materials.
