KazFerroLimited, a new ferroalloy production plant in Ekibastuz, Pavlodar Region, Kazakhstan, is the first of three large-scale industrial facilities planned for the region.

The total investment in the plant is 30.4 billion tenge. The new plant is equipped with two modern electric furnaces that meet international environmental and technical safety standards, and a hybrid filtration system that achieves an air purification efficiency of up to 99.9%.

Currently, the plant is officially operational with a capacity of 60,000 tons, although the type of ferroalloy to be produced has not yet been determined. Furthermore, the project has created more than 350 new jobs and contributed to local socio-economic development.

Once all three integrated facilities are operational, Kazakhstan will rank second in the world in ferroalloy production.
