Brazil’s pig iron exports significantly rise by 56% in Oct m-o-m

According to statistics from Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX), Brazil’s pig iron exports amounted to around 460,000 tons in October, greatly increasing by 56% compared to the previous month.

In the month, the exports were mostly to the US, totaling around 351,000 tons. European countries received a total of roughly 75,000 tons, followed by South America with 32,000 tons.

The deliveries in October were mainly shipped by suppliers in the Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, where a total of approximately 387,000 tons were shipped.
