SunCoke Energy, Inc. and Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. have finalized a three-year extension to their metallurgical cokemaking agreement, solidifying their long-term partnership.

Beginning January 1, 2026, SunCoke will continue to deliver 500,000 tons of coke annually to Cleveland-Cliffs' blast furnaces. The supply will originate from SunCoke's Haverhill cokemaking facility in Franklin Furnace, Ohio.

SunCoke President and CEO, Katherine Gates, said that they are pleased to continue supplying coke from the Haverhill plant. The terms of the new contract are generally consistent with the existing contracts between the two companies.
