Hindalco Industries Limited, an Indian aluminum manufacturer, announced the completion of its strategic acquisition of EMIL Mines and Mineral Resources Limited (EMMRL). The transaction, effective on December 1, 2025, involved securing a 100% equity stake in EMMRL.

This purchase is set to significantly improve Hindalco’s access to raw materials and expand its overall mining footprint. Known for its extensive global operations in aluminum and copper, Hindalco views the acquisition as a move to reinforce its presence in the mining sector.

The integration of EMMRL is expected to enhance Hindalco’s operational stability and may increase its market competitiveness.
