RPCL partners with SMS group to build 2-million-ton pellet plant in Karnataka

Resources Pellets Concentrates Pvt. Ltd. (RPCL), a joint venture between BKG Mining Private Limited and Fomento Resources Pvt. Ltd., has signed a contract with SMS group to build a compact pellet plant in Somalapur Village, Ballari District, Karnataka, with an annual capacity of two million tons. 

SMS group will handle the basic engineering, manufacture, and supply of all major equipment, along with a spare parts package and integrated digital solution suite, with full project delivery expected within 15 months. 

The digital solution suite will bring RPCL key operational advantages, including reduced human intervention, more stable production, and improved energy efficiency. 

Through this investment, RPCL is demonstrating its commitment to building a reliable resource base and fostering sustainable, long-term development in the regions where its minerals are sourced. This partnership with SMS group marks a significant step forward in RPCL's growth strategy and its dedication to responsible, technology-driven mineral processing.
