South Africa launches AD investigation on galvanized steel products from China

On October 12, 2022, the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC), on behalf of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU), issued an announcement to launch an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on other flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel, of a width of 600 mm or more, otherwise plated or coated with zinc, of a thickness of less than 0.45 mm, originating in or imported from China.

The products involved are under HS code 7210.49.10.

The application was filed South African Coil Coaters Association (SACCA), a representative organization for the SACU industry.
