This figure also represents that Argentina will record the largest reduction among all countries in the region given that ALACERO projects the region's production will end this year with 56.25 million tons, a drop of 3.6% compared to 2023.

Brazil will remain the largest producer in the region, with a possible production of 34.17 million tons, followed by Mexico with 13.3 million tons. Argentina will remain in third place.
