CSN expects Brazil's steel consumption to grow 3.5% y-o-y in 2025

The Brazilian steelmaker CSN said the apparent steel consumption in Brazil will reach 26.9 million tons in 2025, an annual increase of 3.5%.

In the flat steel segment, CSN expects the consumption to increase from 15.5 million tons this year to 16 million tons in 2025, while the increase in the long steel segment would be from 10.5 million tons this year to 10.9 million tons in 2025.
