27 Dec 2024 16:44 reported by Raul Lee

A A A
According to Argentina's Steel Chamber (CAA), the country's crude steel production in November reached about 339,000 tons, a drop of 5.9% from the previous month and a drop of 18.1% compared to the same month of the previous year. During the first 11 months of this year, the cumulative production fell sharply by 25% compared to the same period in 2023.

The main sectors that consume the most steel, including construction and automotive, continue to suffer yearly declines, but the agricultural machinery sector continues to show good prospects while the energy sector remains stable, with positive expectations for 2025.
