The trading activities in the Turkish hot-rolled coil market have recently remained active, pleasant news which has been well predicted by most of the market participants earlier.

In Turkey, during the past week, industry insiders have shown a certain interest in importing hot-rolled coils, especially from regions that can realize a relatively faster delivery. 

Not only did the import demand from particular destinations remarkably increase, but local Turkish steel mills also saw product demand bounce in the European market and swiftly took the opportunity to close enough deals with European customers. 

According to insiders, it was told that a local steel mill has already exported about 50,000 tons of hot-rolled coil to Southern Europe.
