On March 12, 2025, Morocco’s Ministry of Industry and Trade initiated an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on galvanized steel wires originating in Egypt and the UAE, following the application filed by Moroccan companies.

The period of the dumping investigation is from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2024.

The products involved are under HS code 7217.20.99.00.

The launch of the investigation takes effect on March 13, 2025.
