YC Inox to start mass production in Turkish stainless steel pipe plant in Q3 2025

Taiwan’s stainless steel manufacturer YC Inox Co., Ltd. is expanding its focus on high-value products to counter low-price competition in Asia. The company's third Turkish plant, the 105 pipe plant, will begin mass production in the third quarter of this year, with an initial monthly capacity of 2,000 to 2,500 tons. This plant will initially split output evenly between domestic sales and exports.

YC Inox's total investment in Turkey has reached US$390 million. The first phase, 108 and 109 plants, began producing structural pipes and steel plates in 2022, primarily for the Turkish domestic market and nearby regions.

The company's CFO said that Turkey's growing economy, strategic location, and high reliance on imported stainless steel pipes present significant growth opportunities.

YC Inox entered the Turkish market in 2019 due to anti-dumping measures against Taiwanese products, benefiting from lower construction costs during a period of high inflation in Turkey.
