Brazil extends AD duties on China’s stainless steel tubes by 5 years

On July 4, 2025, Brazil announced its final determination of a sunset review, deciding to continue the imposition of anti-dumping (AD) duties on stainless steel tubes from China for another five years, following a sunset review.
The AD duty rate is US$1,340.52/ton, applicable to all Chinese producers and exporters except Zhejiang Jiuli Hi-Tech Metals Co., Ltd.

The products involved are austenitic stainless steel welded tubes of grades 304 and 316, with circular cross-section, with an external diameter from 6 mm to 2,032 mm, with a thickness from 0.40 mm to 12.70 mm, classified under tariff codes 7306.40.00 and 7306.90.20 of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM). Conical tubes are excluded from the measure.
