South Korea has replaced provisional anti-dumping (AD) duties with final AD duties on cold-rolled stainless steel products imported from Vietnam, valid from July 11 for five years. The Ministry of Economy and Finance has abolished the extension notice for the previous provisional AD duties.

The rate of the AD duties on imports of Vietnamese cold-rolled stainless steel ranges from 11.37% to 18.81%. YongJin Metal Technology (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. and the companies exporting YongJin’s products are subject to an 18.81% duty. TVL Joint Stock Company, TVL Steel Production And Construction Joint Stock Company, and all other Vietnamese suppliers face an 11.37% duty.

The products involved are cold-rolled stainless steel sheets with a thickness less than 4.75 mm and a width of 600 mm or more, classified under HS codes 7219.31.1010, 7219.31.1090, 7219.31.9000, 7219.32.1010, 7219.32.1090, 7219.32.9000, 7219.33.1010, 7219.33.1090, 7219.33.9000, 7219.34.1010, 7219.34.1090, 7219.34.9000, 7219.35.1010, 7219.35.1090, 7219.35.9000, 7219.90.1010, 7219.90.1090, 7219.90.9000, 7220.20.1010, 7220.20.1090, 7220.20.9000, 7220.90.1010, 7220.90.1090, and 7220.90.9000.
