Turkey's Kıraç Galvaniz opens Europe's largest integrated metal production facility

Kıraç Galvaniz, a Turkish hot-dip galvanized steel producer, has inaugurated its new 1.35 billion TRY integrated metal facility in Bilecik, Turkey, on July 25, 2025. This complex, spanning 54,476 m², has a 13-meter galvanizing pool and high-tech line, equipped with environmentally friendly equipment. It is the largest integrated metal production facility in Europe.

The company aims to increase its total production capacity by 250% within three years and raise its export share to 70%. It also aims to raise R&D spending to over 10% of turnover.

Operating with a 220,000-ton annual galvanizing capacity and 180,000-ton metal fabrication capacity, the facility adds 130 new jobs, bringing total employment to 222, with plans to reach 250 soon.

This investment is expected to significantly contribute to the local economy and strengthen the regional supply chain.
