Rizhao Steel, a steel manufacturer in China, will launch two new coated steel production lines in September this year, targeting high-demand sectors such as home appliances, electrical cabinets, and construction.

The new lines include a No. 3 continuous galvanizing line (CGL) for zero-spangle galvanized steel and a No. 4 CGL for high-end aluminum-zinc steel. The available thickness ranges from 0.4mm to 2.5mm.

The company is adopting advanced technologies, including the endless strip production (ESP) process, which shortens production cycles by 30% and reduces energy consumption.

Besides, the new lines have a high degree of automation and an electromagnetic induction heating furnace, increasing efficiency and lowering per-ton processing costs. The lines support national carbon reduction goals and set a new benchmark for green steel manufacturing.
