China's Shanxi Jianlong has successfully trial-rolled the new high-strength low-alloy steel grade Q460C-L on its 1500mm hot strip mill. Test results confirm that the coiled plates meet all core standards, including yield strength, tensile strength, and elongation, with surface quality and dimensional tolerance exceeding expectations.

Q460C-L is a high-strength structural steel known for its excellent strength, weldability, and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in construction, bridge building, vehicle manufacturing, and engineering machinery. 

Due to its stringent requirements for rolling process control and product consistency, Shanxi Jianlong formed a cross-departmental technical team with experts from rolling technology, quality control, and equipment maintenance to ensure a successful trial.
