China's Baotou Steel has achieved a historic breakthrough by successfully completing its first batch export of R370CrHT high-strength heat-treated rails compliant with European standards. This milestone underscores the company’s strategic focus on expanding its presence in the European market and developing a comprehensive product portfolio. 

From earlier grades such as R260, R260Mn, and R320Cr, which met basic strength requirements, to more technically demanding products like R350HT and R350LHT heat-treated rails, and now the advanced R370CrHT, Baotou Steel has demonstrated full capability in independent R&D and large-scale production of mainstream European-standard rail products. 

This achievement highlights the company’s strong expertise in high-end rail development, manufacturing processes, and quality control, enabling it to offer a diversified product matrix tailored to various railway applications.
