Emsteel, a steel manufacturer based in the United Arab Emirates, provided 5,000 tons of U-shaped steel sheet piles for a new floating bridge across the Suez Canal in Egypt. The structure is designed to improve transportation links between both sides of the canal without interfering with ship traffic. As the only producer of hot-rolled steel sheet piles in the Middle East and North Africa, Emsteel's materials are key components in major global infrastructure projects.

The supplied sheet piles will serve as the foundation for the bridge’s berthing system. Boosted by strong construction activity in the UAE, Emsteel Group reported a 24% year-on-year increase in finished steel sales, reaching 1.62 million tons in the first half of 2025. The company has an annual steel production capacity of 3.5 million tons and cement production capacity of 4.6 million tons.
